Hardest Job is being a Mom

Row One: Barry, Lily, Mindy
Row Two: Hunter, Brenna, Wyatt
Entering the house there is an aroma of bacon and eggs frying. A blonde haired blue eyed little girl is sitting in her high chair patiently waiting for her breakfast to be placed in front of her. The house seemed to be too quiet, but sudden foot steps disturbed the peaceful silence. Entering the room came three more kids. They all sat down at what seemed like their designated spots to receive their breakfast. In what seemed to be seconds all their plates were clear and they were out the door getting on the bright yellow school bus and the house returned to silence once again until Lily made her presence know with a loud squeal signaling she was done with her breakfast. An Easy day seemed like it was on it's way, but that wasn't the case.
Mindy Kobel, a 34 year old mom of four kids dressed in a blue floral blouse, a pair of blue jeans and house slippers. Her blonde hair perfectly laid upon her shoulders pin straight. Her sky blue eyes tired with faint crows feet forming on the sides, but still full of life.
"You must start your day by getting ready right away or it'll never happen after the kids wake up," Mindy explains.
Its now play time for Lily. She was placed in a small but spotless living room with every toy in its place. The cleanliness didn't last long from the innocent looking toddler running around destroying everything like King Kong. In a matter of minutes Lily has toys scattered all across the cream colored carpet.
An ear piercing cry comes from Lily's mouth as the clock hits twelve signaling its time for lunch. "I guess it's lunch time," Mindy says in a soft high pitched chime.
The screaming continues until a snack is placed in Lily's tray to hold her over until lunch. On the menu today is macaroni and cheese, Lily's favorite. As fast as its placed in front of her its gone in an instant. Mindy then wipes her mouth and hands that are full of cheese. Placing Lily down its Mindy's turn to eat, which doesn't go well with Lily; she wants to be held and her wishes aren't met so a large scream almost too big for her little body escapes and she throws her body onto the ground starting a tantrum in attempt to get what she wants.
"I'm going to choose to ignore it this time," Mindy yells over Lily's screams.
" Up Up Up," Lily cries.
After the tantrum fades away Mindy picks Lily up and takes her to into a pink bedroom filled with toys and a white wood crib with a rocking chair. Mindy places a once again crying Lily into her crib. She shoves a bottle into her mouth to stop the cry's and slowly walks out of the room quietly shutting the door.
"Time to clean up this pig sty," Mindy says.
A glace into the kitchen dishes fill the sink and macaroni from lunch clutters the floor.  In the living room toys seem to dominate every inch of the cream carpet. In what seems like hours all the dishes are done, there is no macaroni in sight, and all the toys are put back into their designated spots.
At 3:30 Hunter,Wyatt, and Brenna all walk in behind their dad Barry. Mindy greets them with a tired Lily in her arms. Its now Barry's turn to take a now happy Lily and the day of stay at home mom then ends. Mindy then gets to sit on the couch and relax while Barry entertains Lily and helps the other kids with their homework.
