Do Aliens Exist?
Greetings, my name is Marvin and today, I will be your guide as we visit a new place called Mars. Now, I have lived here all of my life in peace until my colony and I were rudely interrupted by robots that your home planet calls rovers. You may have heard of these rovers before but if you haven't, let me explain them a bit more in detail.
Now, you may be a little bit young to know a lot of information about these rovers, but I'm sure that you know how NASA sent these mobile robots with cameras on them to see if there were any signs of life on Mars. What this meant for me and my colony is that we had to spend many years of hiding from these annoying things! The robots landed around the cold time of 2004. When they touched down, we didn't know what to call them so we just called them Thing 1 and Thing 2. They looked similar but as we kept seeing them, they became a bit easier to tell which one was which.
As well as the cameras, these robots also had wheels that they used to move around and take pictures of my home planet. What this meant for me and my colony was that we always needed to have someone on the lookout to tell the rest of us if they saw the robots coming. Over all of the years Thing 1 and Thing 2 were here, they have never seen us because we have always kept our guard up. Around 2010, we caught a break and Thing 1 had completely stopped moving. After making sure it was safe, we went up to the robot to make sure it was completely shut down. After further investigation, we discovered that Thing 1's actual name was Spirit.

Still to this day, Thing 2 rides around on my planet looking for us and anything else it can find but we continue to stay on top of it so it doesn't see us. Maybe one day we can find out the name of this mysterious second rover but until then I guess my colony can just continue to call it the name we gave it. Hopefully we won't be joined by anymore robots or even humans. We are aware that humans exist because of our advanced technology. We are much superior to earth in terms of our knowledge and technology, so if they get a hold of this document and they decide to come pay us a visit, we will be ready for them. As of now though, it is up to you to keep this document safe from all human-kind so they do not know that we exist, it will be much easier this way.
