Philadelphia

Philadelphia

As you enter the city you'll instantly see beautiful buildings standing side by side which is the downtown, Center City area. This part of Philadelphia tends to be taken care of with love. Meaning if you were to come from the city to deeper into philly you'll see a huge difference. That can be the cleanness, the safeness or just not being comfortable in the different part of the city. Philadelphia is definitely very unique and nice as well as it seems like its a great place to live or visit from the outside looking in. When someone actually goes to Philadelphia and take their time to explore, visit and tour different parts of the city as well as the different environments they'll actually feel and see the different things that Philadelphia has in store for each individual.

Getting deeper into Philadelphia you'll end up in someones "hood" which is what people call their neighborhood or an actual community they live in . Hood meaning ratchet, or violent criminal. Philly consist of crime and violent activity. The crime rate within the city is 42% with a number of 64,910 crimes committed. Which is the reason why I say Philly looks beautiful and nice on the outside until the person or people actually steps all the way into the city or certain neighborhood  and see for themselves. There are a lot of different parts of Philadelphia. Not all parts are bad some are actually good and may be what people are looking forward to living in.

A great living area within philly would be the suburban areas, not the hood at all. Suburban areas tend to be the most respected as a community even less crime issues to worry about. Verses you living in the hood areas you'll have to be cautious with the crime activity in the area and you'll have to worry about the disrespect within the community. The suburban areas tend to be more expensive than the living in the hood. Suburban are meant for the person if their able to provide the proper cost to stay in the area. Within the hood its trash along the streets, city lights barely working, pot holes uncovered, the area is just not taking care of properly at all. Verses the sub-birds (suburban) its less dirty, rarely any trash along the roads, the streets are up to par, the area is just put together well done. Businesses around the suburb areas would be more white collar such as more of the rich people businesses such as high quality companies versus in the "hood" it is corner stores that we call "the poppies", it is Chinese stores that are some open 24 hours and many other small businesses. The workers in the "hood" are friendly while others have reasons to why they be acting differently upon the customers. Some of the higher businesses think they are too good for the people that are not near they're rate.

Good places to visit in Philadelphia for a weekend would be The Ben Franklin Museum because it has a lot of historical things such as architecture landmarks, liberty bell and many other things that may amuse you. As well to find places to eat or things to eat you can go for the famous "Philly Cheese Steak" or go to the "Reading Terminal Market" for different variety of cultural foods. You may also go to old city for a good time and enjoy with friends, family, or significant other, or going to night live for good jazz in the northern liberties. To top everything off their are good hotels that you may stay in such as hotel Palomar of Philadelphia, as well as the double tree hotel of Philadelphia center city etc.

Going through the city is great but actually knowing whats in the city is better. It will give the person or group of people the idea of either living in Philly or coming back in forth visiting. Within Philadelphia there is a rich and poor side of the city. Meaning walking or going through the city or neighborhoods you'll come across rich people living life great, verses homeless and the needy people which are the ones that are classified as poor. More than anything the city of Philadelphia is a wonderful viewing place but it has its downplays on why its not so great.
